We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Machine Operator to join our team in Hazleton, PA. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow safety protocols, and a strong work ethic to ensure a smooth production process.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
- Set up machines by following proper procedures and adjust settings as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting to ensure machine functionality.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Record production data, including machine performance and any maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production processes and resolve issues.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for production.
- Assist in training new machine operators as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Basic mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
