Job Description

We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Quality Assurance Technicians to join our team in Philmont, NY. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all products meet high standards for quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate has strong attention todetail, basic measurement skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and accurate production environmen!

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Philmont, NY

Schedule: 1st shift

Pay Rate: $20/HR

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and tests on plastic packaging products during production
Accurately measure dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
Document quality results and report non-conformities to the Quality Supervisor
Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, discoloration, or irregularities
Ensure that packaging materials and products meet customer and regulatory specifications
Monitor adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Pretium s quality policies
Support quality audits and participate in continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain organized and legible inspection records and logs

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Previous quality assurance or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods
Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational habits
