Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cherry Picker / Order Selector to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Cherry Picker / Order Selector, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment, using a cherry picker or order selection equipment to retrieve items at various heights within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a cherry picker/order selector to retrieve products from elevated storage locations.
Accurately pick and select items based on order specifications, ensuring the right products are chosen in the correct quantities.
Load and organize orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy in each order.
Inspect products for damages or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including the safe handling of equipment and materials.
Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures while operating the cherry picker or order selector.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate order fulfillment.
Assist in inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating a cherry picker or order selector is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking.
Must adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safety certifications (if applicable).
Ideal Candidate:
