Job Title: Line Leader
Location: Vineland, NJ
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, 1st and 2nd shift (overtime as needed)
Job Summary:
The Line Leader is responsible for overseeing daily production line operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role acts as a key point of coordination between team members and supervisors, helping to maintain productivity while fostering a positive and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of production workers on the line to meet daily production goals
- Monitor workflow to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards
- Train new employees on processes, safety procedures, and quality expectations
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues and escalate concerns when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety guidelines
- Track production output and report performance metrics to supervisors
- Ensure proper use of materials and minimize waste
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 50 lbs as needed
Work Environment:
- Industrial/manufacturing setting
- Exposure to varying temperatures and production equipment
- Requires standing, walking, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
