Job Summary: As an Assistant Room Carpet Operator at our facility, you will play a crucial role in the production and quality control of our carpets. Your responsibilities will include assisting in operating machinery, monitoring production processes, and ensuring that our carpets meet high-quality standards.
Location: Wilkes Barre, PA
Work schedule from 7: 00 AM to 3: 30 PM
Pay Rate: $18/hr

Job Description:
Assist in setting up and operating machinery used in the production of room carpets.
Monitor machines during operation to ensure efficient production and detect any deviations from quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of carpets to verify color, texture, and overall quality.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor issues with machinery to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the production process.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and development.
